LHFC is taking a weekend away!
We’ve booked a large manor house right outside Westbury-on-Severn for a LHFC holiday. Come and join us for a bit of rest and relaxation, with a side of fencing if you so choose.
The house has a hot tub, 1.5 acres of private grounds (ample amounts of sparring space, and great for wandering), a large kitchen, a barbecue, a pool table, board games, and a darts board.
The village has a local pub and a Dutch-style court garden, and there are walking/hiking trails in the area along the River Severn.
If you have kit and would like to spend some of the weekend playing with swords, we welcome it! But if you don’t have kit, or don’t want to lug it all the way to Gloucestershire, you won’t be alone. This weekend can also purely be for R&R in good company.
Some meals are included in the cost (see below), but not all. There will be a convenience store within walking distance, and we’re planning a Saturday night group pub outing.
When?
19 July–22 July
Arrive in your own time (after 15.00) on Friday, and depart in your own time (before 12.00) on Monday.
Where?
A manor house just outside of Westbury-on-Severn (closest train station is Gloucester Railway Station, and will require a short taxi from there). An exact address will be provided to attendees closer to the weekend. Plenty of parking space is available onsite.
Cost?
£225 per person / £450 per couple (guaranteed double bed)
The cost covers your bed, access to all of the manor’s facilities and amenities, light breakfasts for all three mornings, takeaway for one night, and additional club snacks.
