The London Intermural Longsword Tournament is a series of longsword tournaments that we’re running as friendly, low-stakes competitions designed to get everyone familiar and comfortable with the notion of scored and competitive sparring. It also acts as a more casual environment for newer judges and referees to train – to that end, you’ll be expected to do some volunteering as part of the event.

We’re aiming to run one at least every quarter, with differing eligibility criteria and rulesets. Equipment requirements for weapons and protective equipment will follow those of the Wessex League.

If you’re an LHFC Member, you must be cleared to spar with steel by the time this tournament takes place.

Pricing includes entry to our Saturday Sparring session afterwards from 14:00-16:00.
