Welcome to our internal Rapier & Dagger tournament, this very exciting event will take place in 24th January 2026.
Your ticket not only allows you to participate in the tournament but will also include entry to Waterloo sparring, and of course afterwards there will be a lovely visit to the pub.
We will follow our usual rules:
– All LHFC rapier students can participate.
– No results will be entered in HEMA ratings.
– This is a Rapier & Dagger tournament, please make sure both are sparring safe.
– Equipment requirements are same as Wessex league https://wessexleague.org/equipment-requirements/
– If you need to borrow equipment, please talk to our gallant instructors.
- Hall will open at 9:00 and kit check will be run until 9:30
- The tournament will take place from 10:00 till 13:00
- Waterloo sparring will happen from 14:00 till 16:00.
- Then we round the troops and take over a pub!
There will be medals and special mentions as usual.
But please remember the objective of this competition is to have fun, experience a tournament in a safe environment and to give everybody a chance to do some extra sparring, so be nice and be kind to your fellow competitors.
